$223,900 is a WYSIWYG PV3 1,500 sq ft 2-car version of the Viejo spec-home on your prepared lot. This PV3 floor plan would be very similar to the WYSIWYG in the Viejo model in interior and exterior finish. Included is a unique $23,000 16-item luxury upgrade package. RV garage options start at $30,000.

$193,900 for a competition model version (includes granite counters and impressive front door) guaranteed to be $1,000 lower than the other models in LHC with comparable amenities. Check for yourself; “apples to apples.” At 1,500 sq ft living area, this competitively priced plan is larger than most other models in Havasu.

 $145,900  for a similar PV3 floor plan done to economy specs (laminate counters, fiberglass shower, 8’ ceilings). An economy style home is under construction at 3230 Gatewood Drive (the Chesapeake floor plan). Drive-thru and 3-car garage options are popular.

ENERGY STAR EFFICIENT: 14-SEER AC unit & 410A refrigerant, digital thermostat, efficient air filters, Low E windows, R38 attic insulation, R19 sidewall batts, standard roof sheeting. This home will qualify for the EPA’s the Energy Star Level I certificate.

KITCHEN & BATH CABINETS: We recommend Kitchen & Bath Concepts or Bob’s Cabinets for Aristokraft products. DBU customers have also selected cabinets from Custom Counters and CabinetsTri-Pacific, and Accurate Measures.

With these firms, DBU will help you with kitchen design details and cabinet and counter selections. This is important because each home is unique in its own way and deserves a special touch that sets it apart. Our design professionals have the skills and experience to offer unique cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets, and trim that can define your DBU home and give it those singular qualities you are seeking.

For appliances, we recommend City Maytag. This is a local business that has the same products offered by Lowes or Sears. But, City Maytag is smaller, locally owned providing excellent service and support.

KITCHEN & BATH COUNTERSGranite counters are included in all DBU luxury line homes.  However, many homebuyers prefer other products for counters. The more popular quality kitchen and bath counters are carried by Desert Floors, Kitchen & Bath Concepts, and Bob’s Cabinets.  DBU customers have also selected counters from Tri-Pacific, Accurate Measures, and Custom Counters and Cabinets.

The more expensive counter options include granite slabs  or Granite tileAnother option as is ceramic tile. Some people prefer solid counters such as CaesarStoneSileStone, or Hi-Macs. The more economical counter materials include laminates such as Wilsonart or FormicaCosts of the materials vary widely depending on individual tastes and preferences

The following cost estimates include materials and labor in Lake Havasu City (psf = per square foot):

  • Granite slab counters (3 CM, std edge, 6” back-splash) start at about $53 to $59 (2CM) psf & up.
  • Granite tile counters (mud float, edging, 6” backsplash) start at about $32 psf & up.
  • Ceramic tile counters ($1.49 tile, mud float, edging, 6” backsplash) start at about $25 psf & up.
  • Laminates such as Wilsonartor Formica start at $15 psf and up.

The basic house plan is 46’ wide, 63’ deep; minimum R1 lot 56’ x 108’. With RV garage; 62’ x 70’; minimum R1 lot 72’ x 108’. Square foot dimensions include the outer skin of foam/stucco, which is the method of measurements for appraisals and taxes. Dimensions approximate.
